This is to inform you that Scobbiscombe Turkeys complies with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) 2018.

WHY WE COLLECT DATA ABOUT YOU

In order to operate efficiently when dealing with enquiries and/or orders we need to be able to communicate with you. If you give your consent when ordering, we may also send you an email reminder when our online shop is open the following year. Limited records will also be retained for accounting and taxation purposes.

WHAT DATA WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

Personal Data we may hold about you includes: your name, postal address, telephone number, email address and other contacts details.

WHERE WE STORE YOUR INFORMATION

These details will be stored on an antivirus-protected computer system in encrypted files.

HOW LONG WE STORE YOUR INFORMATION FOR

The records we hold about you will not be kept for any longer than necessary. For the purposes of communicating about your order, your details will be retained until the order has been fulfilled. Contact details will be retained for up to 14 months if you provide consent to be sent an order reminder the following year. Any records we hold for accounting and taxation purposes will be held for up to 7 years.

YOUR RIGHT TO ACCESS, REQUEST THAT WE ALTER OR DELETE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you; this will be provided within one month of your request. You also have the right to alter or have deleted your personal data from our records; this will be done within 28 days from receiving your instructions in writing or via email.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Your data will not be passed to any other unauthorised organisation without your written permission (with the exception of a courier company we have commissioned to deliver items you have ordered from us).
